College Connect is a nonprofit that connects high school students who are getting ready to apply to college with college students who have already successfully gone through the application process. Students will be paired based on their intended college, desired major, and specific interests to allow for the best and most accurate advice, tailored to fit each student's unique needs. This means that we can help with applications for anything from a community college to a trade school to a T20 university. Whatever you need, we're here to help.
Harish Jaisankar and Claire Smith, the two co-founders, go to school in a city that serves many families who don't have the luxury of spending money for help with college. The inability to get proper help with applications, scholarships, and tuition often deters students from applying to college. Having witnessed this firsthand, College Connect is dedicated to providing all students with equal opportunity, regardless of their income, which is why we function as a nonprofit. By taking advantage of the wide range of college students who want to help other students, we are able to accurately pair high school students with a college mentor who can provide unique and personalized advice. College admissions are incredibly tough and stressful, especially if you have no guidance. Giving students someone to lean on and get advice from allows for a better admissions process and a greater chance of admittance!
